If I’m on the Managed IT program, can you help me if I’m not in town or at my office/home?
Yes! As part of the Managed IT Program, we install a remote access program we can use when you need help. If your computer is on and connected to the Internet, we can help!
I have a Mac so I don’t need this, right?
Wrong! Certainly Apple computers have a better track record against viruses and malware, but as they’ve gained market share, they’ve become bigger and bigger targets for attacks. Not only that, but you should still be protecting yourself against theft or a machine failure with a regular backup.
How much does this cost?
You get all of the things mentioned above for a flat $20/month billed directly to the credit card of your choice on the first of each month.
Does the $20/month include any service labor?
Labor related to the software we install to perform this work is certainly covered. So, for example, if your backups stop running we will fix that problem at no charge. For all other issues, you get a discounted labor rate of $95/hour (normally $125/hour)! You can call or email us to help you with any issues you might be having and it is billable at this discounted rate. This helps with problems such as email support, printer installation, file recovery and much more.
